Food Safety Manager Exams available weekly by appt on Mon or Tues @4 or 5 pm. Pre-registration required
We serve the food services industry from warehouse to the plate with various certifications and training plus options or the community and volunteers.
The descriptions are:
Food Safety Manager Certification: Requirement for one person per shift in retail, public and private foodservices and responsible for training and assurance that everyone serving food is following the minimum requirements found in Food Code and local policies. Available in English and Spanish. Advanced Registration. We recommend the online option done from home for more infomration click here. Group classes and reviews are available and currently done via zoom.
California Food Handler Certification: Required of all persons serving food in retail, public and privae foodservices within 30 days of hire unless otherwise required by employer. Available in English and Spanish. We recommend the online option done from home for more infomration click here. Certification is for 1-3 years. Group classes are available and currently done via zoom . 3 weeks lead time recommended.
HACCP--Hazardas Analysis Critcal Constrol Points: Required of some retail, public and private foodservices. Also the next step of training after the Food Safety Manager Certification. Focuses on the process that provide organizaitons with a framework to monitor and evaluate their food, menus, facilities, training and personel Available in English and online only. Certification has no expiration. Email or call for more information
Covid Protocols--Office Visits only with prior arrangements and appointment. Limit 2 examinees at 4 pm, with masks, desks have been set at >6" apart and office has window, door, and fan ventilation. Proctored online exams are available for persons with stable internet at home or work..
