Welcome! We are dedicated to increasing consumption of
fresh foods and decreasing consumption of over processed foods. We do not promote one size fits all approach in health, food
preparation and nutrition. Our goal is to help individuals believe that they can do it by providing food safety, nutrition,
cooking & health informtion at our office, here and through links.
Cocina Rusa, our location for cooking
classes, grab-n-go snacks & lunches, tamales, piroshky, and catering has developed a special pizza piroshky for large
young people events at the National Steinbeck Center that has the kid seal of approval. They were served with locally grown
organic vegetables from ALBA here in Salinas.
